Excerpts fromFox32chicago.com:
Five vehicles were damaged by fire in the parking lot of a Walmart on Wednesday in Addison around 10 a.m. at 1050 N. Rohlwing Road.
Fire officials say they think a mechanical issue – not foul play – caused the first car to catch on fire and then it spread.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A typical car fire can reach 1400 degrees in the first 3 minutes, with the amount of plastic, aluminum, and other flammable materials not to mention gasoline I am not really sure why it is so hard to believe that cars parked less than a couple of feet from each other caught on fire.

Unless the fire station was 10 miles away, I cannot see how 5 cars were on fire.

Many FORD products have a recent history of suddenly bursting into flames without warning. Scary.

Oooof… makes me want to consider parking far away from everyone else!

Harry, if you read the second sentence, you will find the correct wording. Also it was 5 cars.

It does look suspicious unless the fire was that intense. I see stories and videos of BEV’s that catch fire and are almost instantly destroyed along with any vehicle parked next to it. Don’t know if that was the case this time though.
