the current in service units went to 30 40 49 and 52.
There are 3 going through the shops and radio shops currently as of last i heard they will be 22 35 and 58.
The remaining 6 will be here in August sometime was what they were told at the academy. No assignments for the last 6 yet.

Big Moe, there are trucks. No supply hose on the bumper.

My estimated guess on the assignments for the last 6 trucks is Trucks 3, 4, 25, 29, 44 and 48.

I’m sure the headlights are higher to clear the supply hose that will be sitting on edge there and partially blocking the colored lighting below. Had the same issue with one of our rigs.

In this group, the trucks went to 30,35,40,49,52 where did the other three trucks go? Any guesses where the remaining 6 will go?

last I heard cause of the pandemic all future orders are on hold. And last I heard truck 1 may get a new rig and at that time the current 105′ pre-pipped rig will either be a spare or a special call rig out of engine 35s like the old reserve snorkel was.

The contract expires in 2024.

What happened with AT-1/T-1? Did they leave it an Aerial Tower or re letter it Truck 1? Are there any more Engines coming? I forgot what year the contract expires. John

Unless the city changes the plan currently the plan is for the 3 that are in the city now to be assigned to truck 22 truck 35 and truck 58…. And The last 6 on the order would be delivered sometime in the next 30 to 45 days

So it looks like Truck 35 will get the first new truck on the north side. I know that the Spartan/Crimsons, the previous trucks Chicago purchased didn’t have ladder pipes but does anyone know if these will or not?

If you follow the list from cfdshopnumbers.com if the stars line up and nothing else goes wrong. Truck 29 will be the last company to get a new rig. They seem to be replacing by years in service not by how busy the company is.

The headlights are mounted in that position because they tend to project light further when mounted in the upper position.

One likely reason…lower cost

I wonder why the headlights are above the red/green LED lights now
