I forgot about the Pierce Dash CF they bought in 15. I am guessing this engine will go front line at the other station

Wow seems like Rosenbauer’s becoming more popular in the Chicago Area.

Dolton was a LONG time Mack department with a pierce aerial (1442) and then engine in the early 90’s (1446).
1446 was the last rig bought by the old Dolton Volunteer Firefighters (then leased to the village for $1).
This is when the village started buying rigs as the volunteer fire department disbanded as the village administration made changes and the large money maker of the fourth of july carnival ended (mid 90s).
In the late early 00’s Dolton bought two sutphen engines and the current Tower (1443/T15). This was when the then 30+ year old macks and the 10+ year old pierce started to age or have electrical issues (the pierce).
Then they bought the pierce (1445/E15) a few years back and now this new engine.
