Yes I agree that it’s good to see a Seagrave rig being delivered for a change. New Seagraves have become a rarity. Even New York City which had been exclusively buying Seagrave engines, trucks, and tower ladders until about 10 to 15 years ago is now buying Seagrave but on a much smaller scale. New York has been ordering engines from KME and ladders from Ferrara. They are still buying Seagrave tower ladders and tillered aerials but not much else.

Waukegan has been in need of new equipment for a while now. The engines are mainly seagrave. The Waukegan IAFF posted that they’re getting another new engine and a new ambulance soon

Nice to see a new SEAGRAVE for a change. Nothing at all wrong with the PIERCE’s SPARTAN ERV’s E-ONE’s but something different this time is fine.
