New squad-style trucks for two of the OFI cars, looks like they’re trying to get them out of the buggies into a more suitable rig.

Did 4-6-8 wreck the old or new rig last week? Front wheel was hit and damaged. Had to be towed.

I believe so the maintenance of CPD vehicles is split between here and their motorpool at 52nd and Wentworth, where they also work on CFDs buggies.
If I’m not wrong the 2fm shop at 69th and Wentworth doesn’t do normal cars so CPD picks up the slack and does CFD buggies.

Don’t laugh too hard Rich. Oak Lawn Squad 1 was the pride of the south suburbs and went everywhere. Now they’re in a pick up truck chasing ambos.

4-6-8 is also being replaced with an identical rig.
