From Oak Forest Fire Facebook page;
PSA: Orland Fire Protection District, IL was generous enough to help our aging fleet out of another jam. Our front-line fire engine that responds out of station 39 is out of service for repairs. Our reserve/backup engine (that would normally go in service in its place) is also still out of service. So again, please don’t be confused to see an Orland fire engine showing up to an emergency call with our Oak Forest members on it.
thanks Martin

Sorry u are wrong I don’t work for fouts but think about it if oak Forest rigs are mostly broke and the big co. Like pierce eone seagrave
That is the perfect reason to get a FB is price 600,000 versus 1.2 million and the fact u can get it in 4 months and get a great rig

Mike C, stop picking on Harry, and also, you should refer to Oak Forest.

I think Hairy might be a sales rep for Fouts.
I look at it this way….if Oak Park needs new apparatus, they can find it somewhere.

I suggested smaller builders to the department but it seems as they want top quality and long wait time.

Who can they order from? Everyone is lookin at 2- 4 year delivery. They would most likely have to go with a smaller manufacturer. They would have to go with Toyne or Alexis.
