It’s interesting to see the switch but at the same time, you have to be happy for the men and woman getting a new piece of apparatus.

Good for Norwood Park. Them and other long time Pierce customers switching to other brands is very telling of Pierce’s lack of quality in the last 10-15 years.

Hairy – What do you know about fire apparatus that would help define the rig being a thriller or not?
I’d say this engine has some very nice features on it. I’d definitely say it’s something to be excited about!
– Big motor
– Tons of storage
– 2,000gpm pump
– A real Federal Signal Q Siren not the electronic version.
– spacious cab with raised roof
– booster reel
– Mars 888
If I was a member of Norwood Park, I would be thrilled just for the fact of not buying another Pierce!

Nothing to be thrilled about

Big motor in this engine!
I’d be curious to know the projected delivery date. Seagrave has a massive backlog. If I had to guess, they won’t see this engine for 4 years or more.

It’s nice to see more Seagraves in the area. I like Seagrave and Spartan.
