The Bolingbrook Fire Department worked a house fire in the 800 block of Bell Flower Ln on the evening of 1-4-24.Crews arrived just before midnight and had heavy smoke showing and found heavy fire in the basement. The fire created holes in the floor of the 1st floor, which complicated access. One victim was located on the 2nd floor and removed via a hole created in the bravo side wall.

Engine 1’s rig is the 2012, old E5. To my knowledge, they still have both HMEs and the 2014 Pierce in reserve.

Did they keep both of the HME’s once the E-Ones were placed into service?

Yes, the new F150 went in service a month or so ago. The old 2015 Silverado is now a utility
