Buffalo Grove has a Freightliner/Horton about to be delivered (at Foster Coach now) and another on order.

Naperville also has a F-550/Horton on order for delivery in 2025
Downers Grove ordered 2 F-550/Hortons in February 2022, not delivered yet to my knowledge

Elgin actually has 4 ambulances on order.

Arlington Heights has 6 Braun F-550 Ambulances on order. They approved an initial order of 2 on 2/21/22, then a follow-up order of 4 on 2/21/23. It sounds like they did the order to prevent prices from rising and to ensure they’d get replacements when they needed them.
It seems like they’re going to put the 2022 order in service until the 2023 order arrives. Then, when the 2023 order arrives, the 2022 order will go into reserve for a 1-year “break-in” period of the 2023 order. After that, the 2022 order will go back frontline, and 2 of 4 from the 2023 order will go into reserve to prolong longevity. They don’t want to have to make another order of 4 at the same time again.
The 2022 order is expected in April of 2024, and the 2023 order in late 2025.

I believe New Lenox has order a new ambulance which is in production now but I am not 100% sure on that.
