This from Jim Skrabel:
My son Chris and I arrived at the fire just before the first engine got water on the fire. The 2 1/2 inch hand line made a quick knock of the main fire. Job well done!
The Troy fire was a box alarm at 18600 S. RT 59.

The photo second from the bottom does show an antique tanker (it looks like it was a city-service ladder truck before the tank was added). I live close by and it’s outside pretty regularly, although I haven’t stopped there yet to look at it.

Great job guys! Your size selection of the initial handline will make or break the incident. Big fire equals big water. This along with aggressive tactics prevented the structure from being a total loss. Also realizing the need for additional resources and personnel was made by upgrading the alarm early on.
