Good to see towns are still buying heavy rescues, better to have one incase you need it. Looks like a sharp unit, that I am sure will see alot of use

Hard to drive in dense fog or a snow storm with blue lights flashing on the front.

That looks sharp. Interesting that it has blue lights but hey, whatever works.

This HDR is replacing their 1991 International/Hackney HAZMAT and the Ford/Maintainer light duty rescue that they sold. So why is there an issue with it? Are they supposed to be stuck using something that is 32 years old? If the city has funds for this purchase, great for them.

My guess it will be a jump company with Truck 15. I believe they will use this rig for EMS runs and the truck for fire calls.

I agree Dan. Is this going to be staffed? Or is it a reserve unit of jump company?

Nice toy but is it actually necessary?

Nice looking rig! I wonder if they will have to move the 2006 reserve engine to 16 so this rig can fit into station 15. I know they sold the previous squad and has mat rig so they would have room for MABAS Air 1.
