I believe the district covers 21 square miles (it might be as much as 25 sq. mi.) and includes parts of Darien, Burr Ridge, Willowbrook, all of Willow Springs, and part of unincorporated DuPage county. They operate out of 4 firehouses.

Does anyone know how big the district is? I am guessing this will be truck 124. Couldn’t they put one of the 16 Pierces in reserve and have the 19 take the place of one of the 16’s. I am guessing they have the 16’s at stations 121 and 123 in Burr Ridge.

32-36 month build time. And a 500,000.00 increase… come on!!!!! This is ridiculous. There is absolutely no reason for a 500,000 dollar increase in price except price gouging. Yes there are increases but this bullshit.. Find another vender that can and will meet your spec. Yes it’s not a pierce but who cares, the firemen and mechanics will adjust.
