  We do not have a full time dive team. We have members on shift that are on the dive team who will respond to the scene. There are boats downtown, at 8s(by the mall), and 10s(by Orchard Rd). Central Station companies will bring the dive truck(not a converted ambo just an older vehicle) and boat. The team looked at multiple other vehicles and Chicago was one they looked at and liked. This new one should be a great improvement over the current vehicle.

  Rich I think they’re using an old converted ambulance as the dive van now. And I don’t believe they have a dedicated company assigned to the dive van.
