Mike, yes it’s available for law enforcement use. I believe it’s on the ILEAS list of resources, and it was used during the active shooter incident at Oakbrook Mall last month.

It also states that Westmont received an unexpected $451k grant and $50k from DEA on top of the $76k from MABAS 10. So why not Harry?

Fred M yes, on the top photo that you can enlarge it states MABAS Div 10 is offering $76,304 towards its purchase.

The first photo notes that of the total cost: $451,557 is from a grant and $76,304 was paid by MABAS 10.
And, yes Harry, it’s a heck of a lot more necessary than some of the purchases you think departments should make hahaha

Nice! 1888 has been well utilized throughout its life span. The new one will go nice with Westmonts new engine!
