Sorry I meant the “Clark Door for EMS” equipment, members can now exit and enter cab with 2 points of contact, not having equipment in their hands!

Hey Chicagoland Fire Photos as long as your mentioning Trucks 26 and 36, Truck 25 Up North can also really use a new Truck. It seems that about every 3 out of 4 times that I have seen it on the street they have been running with a spare over the last several months.
By the way I love that Great Shot of Evanston Truck 23 in their station that you have on your website, that a fantastic shot!
Now I don’t know if you are from the Northside or the Northshore suburbs but if you are have you seen Truck 25 lately as its been a few weeks for me?
If you have are they still using a spare rig?

Do you see the “Clarke” on the driver’s side. Safety in mind for 2 points of contact!

With the ongoing issues with the supply chain, The ladder trucks may take awhile for them to be delivered. Engine 101 needs a new rig so bad since they are one of the busiest Engine Companies in the City.

Any update on the trucks (Not Towers) 26 and 36 could really use one

Last. I heard the ladders were being built but parts delivery was holding up some stuff at the plant… they did do a final inspection on the tower ladder on the order a week or 2 ago as of now its supposed to go to TL 24 but as always that could change

Truck 4 has the Chinese lettering

I hope the captains on engine 8 and truck 4 put the Chinese numbers on the rigs. That was very nice to see on the other ones.

Nice, glad to know that finally 20 year old rigs are going to be removed from frontline service. Chicago needs to come up with a better replacement plan. With these 2, there are now 3 from the batch of 9 in the city. 6 more yet to come.

Excellent. Please correct me if I am wrong, but don’t both 8 & 19 have their originally assigned ’01/’02 Spartan/Luvernes from 20 + years ago? Then this would leave 108 with the last originally ’01/’02 assigned raised-roof Spartans.

Where will D683 be assigned to along with the other five engines?
