Didn’t they sell one of their old e-one engines and the E-one squad once they put the 2020 Pierce engine in service?

Not bad mileage for a 26 year old truck! I am sure it will serve some small volunteer department well. I wonder if they are going to get another truck to replace the 2008 Pierce and have the Pierce go into reserve? Does anyone have any idea how many runs Rosemont goes on every year?

I’m not sure there are a lot of proprietary parts that it would need to repair the heat and air conditioning. Any proprietary parts can likely be retrofitted to something different. Maybe I’m wrong but I’ve fixed a lot of air conditioners in my day. Regardless, this truck appears to be a pretty decent buy.

Mike, since they use big truck and/or proprietary components, an arm and a leg sounds about right……..

I wonder what the a/c and heater would cost to repair or replace???

It looks like a good buy for some smaller dept that needs one the truck past certifications a little over a year ago……….
