  Correct and Oak Lawn lost some of the areas previously served by Columbus Manor to parts of Bridgeview and Chicago Ridge.

  In 1964 the oaklawn fire department took over fire protection from the Grandview fire protection district and in 1968 they took over fire protection from the Columbus manor fire protection district their apparatus became part of oaklawns roster.this came about thru annexation of both unincorporated areas bordering the village of oaklawn
