This from Wayne VanBeveren:
Hello! I found the former Alsip ambulance I’ve attached photos of behind Dolton Station 16. It was donated to Dolton FD by AlsipAlso, they have an E-One engine on order and are also in the process of acquiring a former Evergreen Park engine. They’ll be getting rid of the tower ladder and both Sutphen engines.

Mike,
One of the Macks was totaled in an accident 1995ish. Not sure what happened to the other two, likely traded in at some point on an apparatus purchase.

My guess is the Pierce will go reserve once the new e-one arrives.

I didn’t think Alsip would give away a whole ambulance as they usually save the boxes and do a re chassis.

Wonder what happened to the three sharp looking B model Macks that they used to have…….

I also wonder how their Rosenbauer pumper is holding up?

I’m surprised that Dolton would be getting rid of their tower as it is a workhorse in Division 24 going to Cal City, So. Holland and even Harvey. Any word of replacing it?
