From Joe:
On a bike ride today I spotted this, Parker Fire Department Engine Company 2202 in a lot at the corner of Milwaukee and Rockwell in Chicago. No indication as to why it might have been there or who owns it. As best I can tell, there’s a Parker Fire Department in Arizona that seems to be all volunteer that uses a similar livery/color scheme and currently has a rig numbered 2221, so I’m guessing it’s a former Parker, AZ engine company. Thought your readers might find it interesting.

Glad someone photographed it. I learned over the many years in taking photos of dead or longer term parked buses and fire apparatus is never put it off. One day you may show up and it may be gone.

YES, it is from Parker AZ, was sitting outside of their station, looked to be in good condition, but higher mileage, other then that is pretty good shape.

I’ve seen this a few times from the Blue Line train, sitting right in the middle of an empty lot, looks odd

Looks to be a nice old E-ONE. Sporting the “Janet airlines” look.
