since they use the puc style I am surprised they would not get the dash cf that has room like the old school rigs had

Glad to see Rockford getting into Enforcer Cabs instead of using Arrow XT cabs. Arrow XT cabs are the narrowest cab in the industry and very old design. The new Enforcer is roomier and still allows customer engine preference.

There is a large tractor-trailer command post vehicle that was recently added. These new engines should replace the last Freightliner pumpers. Some of the previous vehicles were leased to speed up the refresh of the fleet and to dispose of some of the used vehicles bought on an emergency basis.

Glad they are replacing vehicles on a more regular schedule pre 2012 the fleet was in bad shape.

Glad engine 3 is getting a new engine. I believe they were the last engine to be in the 2004 engines.

I saw a pic somewhere of the former Ladder 1 (the current Ladder 2’s twin) which is now reserve Ladder R10.
Did the former Engine 1 (older Saber) get reassigned to Engine 6? The new engines went to 1, 3 and 7.
Also did Rockford get a new command vehicle?

Great to see Rockford getting lots of new apparatus in the coming years. The department as a whole has seemed to really make great strides in becoming a even better department.
On a side note, what the heck is up with Pierces photos? They are so horribly Photoshop now, before they looked pretty good. I don’t why they changed them, but they need to go back to the old way. Better yet, just take an actual photo like literally everyone else.

The ENFORCER is a more premium version of the SABER. Those two chassis seem suitable for smaller depts. or for use of support vehicles in larger depts where the bigger engines are not needed.

How are the new Enforcer chassis’ working out? I remember a few years back when Pierce released the current generation Enforcer and many got so excited. I’m not sure what there was to be excited about based on their opinion from the previous generation. The previous generation had no space in the cab. It certainly wasn’t anything special. Just a basic cab with limited options.

Literally a sharp looking pumper. Not many curves.
