New engine for Chicago (more)

I am excited to announce that yesterday the Chicago Fire Department delivered a brand new fire engine to Engine Company 11 house on Cumberland. This brand new state of the art rig will give our firefighters a more modern approach towards fire suppression on the Northwest side of Chicago. Thank you for all you do CFD Engine 11, Truck 9 and Ambulance 2

Flossmoor Illinois Rosenbauer America Mid-Mount 75’ Aerial Platform #7575

Thank’s to the Village of Flossmoor, Flossmoor, IL for your fire apparatus purchase. Fire Chief Chris Sewell and Asst. Chief Keith Damm in Fremont, NE at the aerial campus. Rosenbauer chassis inspection and a good day inspecting the aerial platform seeing it set in place and operational today. Many thanks to the staff at Rosenbauer Aerials for a job well done.

Getting ready to pin the aerial to the turn table within the hour. Stay tuned !

New engine for the Illinois Fire Service Institute (more)

This #Enforcer #Pumper holds 500-gallons of water with a 1,500 gpm Darley pump. The rig is going to be used every day by students so the design of the apparatus was kept simple. Features include a compartment in the back for hard suction hoses and stainless-steel scuff plates.
