From the Huntley FPD Facebook page:
Huntley firefighters visited Spartan’s facility yesterday to take a tour of their plant and review HFPD’s latest engine chassis. From here it goes to Toyne Fire Apparatus in Iowa to have the pump and rear compartments mounted. The district expects a delivery date in December.
Here are some additional photos of their new engine

As of today the plan is she will start her life at Station 2 on Reed Road and then move to Station 3 on Regency Parkway when the new Station 1 is completed. The plan is to move the Truck to Station 1. Keep in mind that plans do change…

Will this replace one of their existing engines or will this be the engine for the new station? Love the 888’s

Look at those LED 888’s and the Hi Viz Brow light! Spartan/Toyne is a great combo!
I wonder where that green cab will end up!
