This from Eric Haak:
Tinley Park had a Box Alarm at 7121 Laverne Lane at about noon on Sunday (4/8/2018). The first arriving company had a well-involved unit on the third floor of an apartment building. The fire was out before I could make my way down there so with no tactical images to be taken, I snapped a bunch of south suburban rigs to share.

Yes the New Frankfort tanker was delivered last spring. It is a sharp looking truck! I also believe they took delivery of another Pierce engine for station 74 a few years ago.

That sucks that Frankfort’s snorkel was a lemon. Within the last year, didn’t they purchase a Pierce pumper tanker for station 73?
Wasn’t Frankfort supposed to order a Pierce 107ft aerial ladder at some point? I am guessing the Pierce PUC is now running as engine 71.

KL, Frankfort’s Snorkle is gone. Lemon Law. It went back to Smeal/LTI with no promise of a return.

Nice apparatus shots! My guess is Frankfort runs this ladder out of their station 2?

Nice apparatus shots Eric. It’s great to see the Southland with black over red apparatus and green and red lights!
