This from Eric Haak:
The temperature was -6 with a -25 wind chill when this fire came in about 6:45 New Year’s Day. The home was heavily involved when the first company landed and frozen hydrants prompted a still and box alarm shortly after the arrival of the 15th Battalion chief. The structure was located near the intersection of 47th Street and Western Avenue. 15 people were displaced.
