I don’t doubt it but I could have sworn it was a yellow ALF and it was diesel powered.
I know it was a brighter spot in the horrible time called basic training.

Crabby, I just checked illinoisfiretrucks.com, Bill Friedrich’s page. He has a 1965 ALF TDA in red and a yellow 1984 Segrave. Maybe check with him about a yellow ALF.

I was in the navy at Great Lakes in 1984 and recall seeing an ALF ladder that was yellow. But this was basic training so I couldn’t just get in the car and get a better look at it.
