I stopped by Engine 42’s house and saw that Truck 3 was running with a spare. The doors had placards with the number 3 pursuant to the logistics order that was issued last year.

Stopped by 42 today, and it looks like it’s just mask Ng tape holding it in. Also found out that the extrication equipment on Squad 1 is mounted In the cab.

Remember that some fire apparatus have aluminum cabs (such as E-One) and aluminum like stainless steel is non-ferrous and magnets don’t “stick”
This is why some steel squares have been glued to the doors on the spares
