The 2015 Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show
The Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show is one of the Midwest’s largest public emergency vehicle show with over one hundred fire engines, police cars, ambulances, and emergency vehicles participating throughout the weekend. Generous participation is provided by over fifty local fire, police, and public safety agencies, allowing the public to safely witness amazing real-life situations. Demonstrations include vehicle crashes with hazardous materials needing heavy duty extrication and medevac helicopter responses, and S.W.A.T. team high-risk entry maneuvers. Children’s activities will include fire truck rides, water fights, and safety displays. In keeping with our public safety theme, vendors will offer related memorabilia and collectibles. A variety of food and beverages will available for purchase. This FREE family event, is open to the public and hosted by the Aurora Regional Fire Museum and the City of Aurora Fire and Police Departments.

Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show’s Lights and Siren Procession
Staging begins at 5:30pm at the North Aurora Police Station. The procession kicks off at 6:30pm, winding though the communities of North Aurora, Aurora, and Montgomery before ending up as a static display at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum for First Friday’s from 7:30 to 9pm.
Saturday – August 8, 2015
The 18th Annual Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show will be from 10am to 4pm on the grounds of Aurora Regional Fire Museum in downtown Aurora, Illinois. The day will feature static displays of new and vintage emergency vehicles, live demonstrations of police, firefighting, and rescue operations, safety displays, children’s activities, and more.
Sunday – August 9, 2015
A caravan of Emergency Vehicle departs Aurora at 9:30am and arrives at Naperville’s picturesque downtown Riverwalk in time to participate with the Naperville’s Emergency Vehicle Show 10am to 2pm. The City of Naperville and the Downtown Naperville Alliance are excited to bring part of the Midwest’s largest public emergency vehicle show to Jackson Ave (between Eagle and Main Streets) in Downtown Naperville. As part of the City’s 20th Annual National Night Out events, over fifty emergency vehicles, including vintage police cars and antique fire engines, will be on display alongside contemporary police S.W.A.T. tactical units, and modern emergency equipment. The event is free to attend.
