It seems to me that Pierce should get rid of Global.

Better hurry with that Cicero rig, the Seagrave RM they are using is getting a little long in the tooth.

Pierce has been having some quality issues, as well as customer service issues lately. Thinking that may have played a part??

Maybe Pierce has become too expensive? Maybe their sales reps are not wheeling and dealing as hard when it comes to dealing with towns that have purchased multiple Pierce apparatus in the past?
This is the fourth town in the last year that has ordered from Pierce in the past but now has gone with another manufacturer for whatever reason. Hoffman Estates Bloomingdale and Glencoe being the other three.
I am guessing this will be replacing Engine 5 which is a 2000 Pierce Saber.

That’s interesting west Chi going with a different manfacturer than Pierce. I’m curious why, and I am not even a Pierce Kool aid drinker.
