…the fact that the Tower is not a 20+ year old reserve apparatus is the real give away 🙂

I am with FFEMT, that pump is a dead give away that it is not Chicago!

….it has a pump. That’s a pretty good give away that it’s not CFD.

Carol Stream Chief Rick Kolomay’s father and uncles served in Chicago. Rick also served in Schaumburg, which at one time had heavy Chicago influence. When you’re the chief, you get to pick what the rigs look like. Maybe it’s his way of paying homage to his father and uncles. Whatever the motivation, they are sharp, classy rigs!

That is Carol Stream Fire Protection District Tower 28. Their paint scheme and graphics are pretty much identical to CFD.

Thats not a Chicago rig. Don’t get me wrong, I thought it was a Chicago rig. But if you look closely, its not a Chicago truck.
