Thursday afternoon we were headed to West Sub Hospital to try to catch the newly remarked 18th battalion while he was there, and caught a still alarm at 5012 w Madison. Engine 113 arrived to find nothing showing from a 3-sty apartments over commercial. Tower 14 arrived and reported smoke showing from the rear upon their arrival. Engine 113 lead 1 line up to the 2nd floor where they had a small bedroom fire. Companies made a quick knock. I’m not 100% sure but this might be the first fire for Battalion 18 on the west side.
