Congratulations to Fire Chief Mark Hajduk and the Munster Indiana firefighters on the purchase of their new E-ONE HP75 aerial. This apparatus will be equipped with a 500-HP engine and an Allison EVS4500 transmission. It will have a HALE QMAX 2250-GPM pump with a 2000-GPM aerial waterway, 75-ft heavy duty aerial with a 750 lb. tip load, large diameter discharges, oversized plumbing, a 500-gallon Poly Tank, Williams Industrial Foam System, 30-gallon on-board foam cell, with off-truck foam pick up system, all LED emergency lighting, and a complete ISO complement of ground ladders. The 4-man Typhoon cab will come equipped with E-ONE’S side roll airbag system.

Congratulations to Chief Bob McDermott and the North Riverside Fire Department on their recent purchase of a 2022 Ford Type III Wheeled Coach ambulance. This is the second Wheeled Coach in their fleet and includes a patented Safeguard Box Modular Frame including the patented TrueForm Wall construction, which provides the highest quality, precision engineering with accurate and square framed results. This unit will come on a 2022 F-550 4×2 chassis complete with a Liquid Spring rear suspension system, 170” module, 72” interior headroom, custom interior cabinetry, Whelen LED emergency and scene lighting, drop skirt body sides for ease of entry, Per4 Max Restraint Systems, and a Stryker Power Load System. This will be Lansing’s second Wheeled Coach unit. We appreciate the continued business.

Congratulations to Chief Steve Hotwagner, members of the Midlothian Fire Department, and the village board on the recent purchase of their new 2022 Wheeled Coach Type III custom ambulance. This new unit will replace a 20-year-old reserve unit and will be their third Wheeled Coach ambulance. Since 2012, this busy suburban Chicagoland department has appreciated the durability that Wheeled Coach’s fully extruded body delivers. This unit will now come with Wheeled Coach’s all aluminum interior cabinetry, custom Whelen LED emergency lighting, LED scene and brow lighting, Stryker Power Load System, and Stryker Power Cot.

A special thanks to Fire Chief Puknaitis, Deputy Chief Scheller, Fleet Services Project Manager Tracy Rulo, & the Naperville FD apparatus committee on their purchase of a 2021 E-One e-Max squad. This unit was highly customized and built to handle Naperville’s large footprint. With over 38 square miles and a population of over 148,000, this unit will surely get a workout. We appreciate the continued business from this excellent customer.
