Congratulations and Thank You to Chief Jeff Smith and the members of the Hammond Fire Department on the recent purchase of two Road Rescue, medium duty, UltraMedic ambulances. These new units will be built on 2022 International MV chassis’ and will have Road Rescue’s 170” long all aluminum walk-thru module with 72” interior headroom. In addition to Road Rescue’s standard all aluminum interior cabinetry and whisper quiet sound deadening thermal insulation system, these fully customized units will also have 6” dropped skirts, integrated rear chevron lighting systems, Pioneer LED scene lighting, Brigade 360 degree overhead view camera systems, as well as Stryker Performance Load Cot Systems. Additional safety systems include Per4Max seatbelt restraint systems, fully CN-10 compliant cabinet doors, safety net at the head of the squad bench, and LiquidSpring Suspension System for improved ride and patient comfort. These top of the line features, coupled with Road Rescue’s rock solid engineering will provide years of dependable service to this busy department. Congratulations to Chief Tom Styczynski, Deputy Chief Bob Ricker, and the Village of Alsip Board of Trustees on the recent purchase of their new Type III Road Rescue UltraMedic ambulance. This new custom unit is being built on a 2022 Ford E-450, 158” wheelbase chassis, with a 7.3L gasoline engine. This new unit will be the next addition in their all Road Rescue fleet of custom ambulances. It will come complete with Road Rescue’s V-MUX Multiplex electrical system, all aluminum interior, Federal Signal LED emergency lighting, Per4Max Restraint Systems, Stryker Power Load & Power Cot, and custom SCBA/gear compartment. This vehicle will provide the “Mission Ready” consistency and dependability that the Alsip FD demands. Alsip has been a loyal Fire Service Inc. and Road Rescue customer for many years. We appreciate this, and have worked hand in hand to truly help keep them “In Service for Life”

Representatives from E-ONE and Fire Service Inc. were on hand at O’Hare International Airport to help provide in-service training to the Chicago Fire Department as they work with their recently delivered new Tower Ladder 63. This 100’ rear-mount platform boasts Federal Signal LED lighting, a 5” stainless steel aerial waterway, 5” front suction, severe duty interior, and painted ROM rollup doors. In addition to it’s full ladder complement, this custom apparatus boasts many unique storage features that will serve the CFD and Chicago’s international airport for many years.

Congratulations and Thank You to Chief John Kavanagh and the members of the Village of Gurnee Fire Department on the purchase of their new Road Rescue Type I ambulance. This heavy duty unit is being built on a 2022 Ford F550 4×2 chassis, and will come complete with a Whelen Freedom IV series lightbar, Complete “M” Series LED warning light package, including all LED interior. This new Road Rescue, UltraMedic ambulance will come with their patented Whisper Quiet Interior and all aluminum cabinetry. It will also contain a Stryker Power Load System. Gurnee has been a longtime Fire Service Inc. customer. We appreciate the support and continued business from this tremendous customer.
