This from Lucas:
Thought you may want to share AFD’s newest truck, Truck 2. Currently it’s at the garage being fitted for tools and radios and hopefully will be in service by the end of the year.

Engines are roughly 10 years as Frontline, reserve for as long as feasible. Trucks are a bit longer, current Truck 2 is a 2000, it was supposed to be built last year but everyone can guess why that got delayed. Typically an ambulance a year gets replaced, so right now the life cycle is about 7 years but depends on mechanical sustainability. I have not heard of any engines being ordered next year, but I would guess late in the 2022 year another order for an engine and truck may come up.

Sharp looking truck! Definitely needed. Aurora has kept up with replacing their apparatus. Does anyone know how long they keep frontline engines in service? Is it 10 years for engines and 15 for trucks? The only reason I say that is next year will be 10 years for the 2012 E-ones which I believe include engine 1 and 10.
Is this a 2021 or a 2022 rig?

Sweet. And quite needed. The current T-2 has to be well worn by now. Busiest truck in town. Congrats on the new rig.
