Lansing FD update

Just wanted to give an update on Lansing‘s new F-450 ambulance. It has been in service for about a month now and operates out of station 3. 163 has been moved to station 2 where it is 3rd due, and 161 is now the reserve also at station 2.

MABAS Division 24 radio frequencies

Just wanted to share some updates regarding the frequencies on the site for MABAS 24. Glenwood, Homewood, Riverdale, South Holland, Flossmoor & Hazel Crest are now under E-COM which is 151.430. 153.890 is still utilized by Lansing, Lynwood, Munster, Thornton, East Hazel Crest, Harvey, Phoenis, Dolton, Tinley Park, CC Hills, Burnham & Markham. Oak Forest uses 159.045. 153.830 serves as the Red fireground for the entire division.

I was in the TF South auto body class my junior and senior year. During my junior year, we assisted the CCFD in the restoration of their 1914 American LaFrance. I came across an album while cleaning up my computer and decided to share it.

Just wanted to submit an update for Glenwood. The 2000 expedition listed as 432 is now 424 and no longer runs medical calls. It is used as station 1’s utility vehicle. The new 432 is a 2010 Ford expedition equipped with medical supplies and is now our EMS response unit out of station 1.
