From Robbins FD Facebook page
What a beautiful day here in the Village of Robbins at the Robbins Fire Department. Citizens of Robbins, your new ambulance has made its way home as of this afternoon. Another historic moment here in the village as this ambulance was built for the Robbins Fire Department. From the conversation with the manufacturers way back when to it’s delivery today, it’s definitely been a journey. We look forward to the next steps in the process as we continue to move forward in the journey to provide you the citizens, the best that we have to offer!

Here are some images from a Mabas Box in Calumet Park Saturday morning (12/22) at 12320 S. Page Street. The fire came in at 0600 and the back end of the building was already fully involved when the first companies landed. The nearest hydrant was over 1,000 feet from the structure and companies had to go in line to supply water.
