E8/T4 in Chinatown has a few different styles and carries long sleeve shirts. They can be found at 212 W. Cermak (Cermak and Wentworth), which is accessible by CTA Red line or an easy drive from downtown.
E38 recently had their 125th anneversary and had shirts for the occasion. They should still have some at Thanksgiving. They are at 16th and Pulaski – a much different neighborhood than Chinatown though.
If all else fails, you can stop by just about any CFD firehouse and ask if they have shirts – most do, or go by E78 for one of the ubquitious E78/Wrigleyville shirts

i know G&L clothing in Oak Lawn sells a lot of company t-shirts. i’m pretty sure a lot of houses have some type of shirt that they would sell.

Can someone offer assistance to ZW who has the following question:
I’m going to be up in Chicago around Thanksgiving and wondered if you knew where I could get a CFD shirt, preferably a long sleeve tshirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie. I got a tshirt last time I was in the Windy City at 22 Engine and wondered if there are any other stations that sell shirts.
Thanks
ZW

the first Trucks getting the new ones are either older seagraves or ALS trucks. and they also want to replace the e-ones as well. they want all trucks to be 2000 or newer by the time the order is complete.

why is truck 42 getting a new rig? dont they have a 2002 pierce

I also heard that Truck 42 is supposed to be getting one of the next few Spartan Crimsons that were delivered. If those plans are still on, I wonder why they would be giving a new rig to Truck 42 when after Trucks 13 and 50 get their new rigs there are still 7 more 2000/E/Ones that need to be replaced (based on age). If they still want to give a new Spartan Crimson to a Truck company with a Pierce Aerial Ladder then why not to Truck 47 or 52 which happen to be the two original Pierce Aerials and are older then Truck 42’s rig.
