Car fire on I-355 near Bolingbrook, 7-18-15

This from Dan McInerney:

Bolingbrook had an auto Saturday (7/18715) on the northbound 355, just south of Boughton. BLBK E3 and M3 were first in. DAWD E90 and M90 also responded but were like, meh, the fire is out, so they stood by and assisted where needed. Battalions from both departments responded as well. Fire was in a late model Dodge Neon 4-door.

Working fire in the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods FPD, 6/27/15

The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods FPD responded to a report of smoke in the townhouse at 407 Catbird Lane in an unincorporated section of their district. First arriving units encountered smoke and upgraded the alarm to the Code 4 for the working fire. They made quick work of extinguishing the the fire above one of the 2nd floor bedrooms.

Lincolnshire-Riverwoods units at the scene included Engines 51 and 52, Truck 53, Battalion 51, and Ambulance 52. Mutual aid at the scene was from Wheeling (T24), Buffalo Grove (BN 4 and E26), Prospect Heights (S9), a Lake Zurich ambulance plus chiefs from Long Grove and Countryside.

I took this in on the way home from work the other day. It was on the ramp that connects the westbound Kennedy to the northbound Tri-State tollway, just south of the toll plaza. Its always nice to see Rosemont’s rigs on the move with their Roto-Rays operating.
