The vehicles are listed under Fleet. They specify tower ladders, aerials, and I believe engines.

By the time they replace the entire fleet, they’ll have to start all over again. Time goes fast.

F is short for AVF which is airport shops id numbers

CFD will not be getting a new fleet. It looks like they will be buying more trucks, engines and also tower ladders. The quantity is not listed and 10-20 million is a wide range.

As far as I know the “C” following with the number should be shop number of the rig which usually replaces the unit no. on reserve rigs. Not sure what the “F” means though.

Asher, the ” C ” number is the Fire Department Shop ID number. Those are only used once to a each ambulance the city gets. The ” F ” number is the Aviation Vehicle Fleet number. Those numbers are assigned to every fire suppression airport operated vehicle.

What does the “F” or “C” mean on the ambos?
