Engine 2 is still in the Pierce as of writing this, not sure when the new one will go in service. There was a decent production delay, the original expected delivery date was October of 2022 and they weren’t delivered until April.
From what I’ve heard, the Ferrara quint is gone. Not sure what the plan is for the Pierce’s, but I imagine one will go the E1 and the other will go into reserve.

I seen the old engine 5 heading northbound I-55 about a week ago or so. At that time the new engine 5 was in service.

Looks like they took the Ferrara out of service as engine 1 and put one of the HME’s in it’s place. I am guessing Engine 2’s E-One is not in service as of this fire. The new Engine 5 looks nice.

Great shots! Nice to see that they went back to their traditional BFD logo in Old English font.
Did BOLB not receive their second new E-One engine yet? Is the former Engine 5, the other Pierce, a reserve now?
