bill engine 7s house is under renovation so for the time being engine 7 is running out of engine 108s house and the truck and ambo and over at engine 68s house
so L-R at 108s house are E 108, E 7, Amb 47, and TL 23
and at 68s house its E 68, T 58, and the 2 ambos.

Was Engine 7 on a change of quarters to Engine 119 as Engine 119 should have been the still Engine while Engine 7 isn’t normally due on the still or the still and box at that location?5

John, they’ve been doing that since the dawn of time. And yes, it is a safety thing. Keeps the line from hitting the engineer if there should be a coupling failure or if the line should somehow separate from the pump panel.

I’ve noticed that Chicago ties down hose lines coming off the drivers side of their engines. Is that a safety thing or just Chicago? I never have seen that before. John
