The Tri-State Fire Protection District in MABAS Division 10 has been added to the site. Tri-State operates four stations with two medic units, four engines, a tower ladder and a battalion chief. Their frontline medic units are by Horton and the suppression apparatus is a mix of Crimson, Pierce, and Smeal. The district encompasses areas of Darien, Burr-Ridge, Willowbrook, and unincorporated DuPage County.
Tri-State has their own dispatchers that work from Station 2.

Hey Mike…GET A LIFE!!!!! …..you are obviously someone “against” the chief…so you are either a disgruntle f/f, a former trustee or someone who is against women in the fire service …what gives Mike?…you seem to listen to the SCANNER “constantly”…AND be at fires “????” what do you do? you seem to “think” you know so much about tri-state…yet not?….I think you need to go out…get a life…quit listening to the “scanner”
…quit ambulance and fire chasing…and go get a JOB….apparently you can’t get one at a real fire department…b/c you seem to have TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS ON BLOGS, WATCHING FIRES AND LISTENING TO A SCANNER…AND NOT FIGHTING FIRES SO……GROW UP U GEEK!!

Did Tri-State dispose of Engine 512, the Ford/Alexis reserve at Station 1 and former Engine 541, the near twin Pierce Arrow to the ex Engine 521 which is now reserve?

I hate to get sucked into this web Mike. But let me make a few corrections to the 67th and CHR fire. Not sure what you are talking about. The fire started on the deck and extended into the attic, which in turn burned the roof off. All because the attic was decked with plywood and was filled with the homeowner’s belongings. The 2-11 (not 3-11) was called because someone called a FF down. The decision was made in the command van to escalate the alarm. And in regards to meeting with the chief, if she is out then why don’t you talk to Jack? Are you too scared?

Mike…are you talking about the fire that was 2 January’s ago? The night that was roughly 20 below 0?

Hey Tri -State guy, would love to talk with your chief !! But she is never in her office. She is not held accountable since her spouse is a trustee, that is the only reason she was made chief. No conflict of interest there! Everyone know Jack runs the department. I just feel sorry for you, I witness the mess at 67th and Clarendon hills road. Come on a 3rd alarm deck fire that barely spread to the house. You work with hardworking and talented paramedics and firefighters, I hope you find new leadership soon.

Honest question Mike–
Are you a firefighter? And if so….are you on TSFPD’s frequency?
Also you do realize you’re not going to change a single thing by ranting on this website, right?

Tristate suppose to be going on ducoms new trunking starcom 21 system with group 635 . It would be easy for tristate to get their own talkgroup probaly and not be simulcasted . Then people wouldnt hear them and then people wouldnt be able to complain about TRISTATE and seat belt fastened .
