Chicago Fire Boat – Engine 2

Gordon J. Nord, Jr. photographed the Christopher Wheatley, Chicago’s new fireboat which has now been lettered as Engine Company 2. The boat appears to be scheduled for christening tomorrow, May 5th at 0830.

  Are there a living quarters on board Engine 2? And where will it be located?

  The Fire Boat Engine 2 has been officially placed in service as of 0800 hours May 03, 2011.

  Additionally Fire Boat Engine 58 is out of service at the same time.
