Frank the Fleet Services took over the CFD rigs some 15 years ago and they do all the towing duty as well, so I guess there probably won’t be any more CFD tow trucks in the near future if ever. The LAFD rotator was just a joke..

Did the cfd ever get the HD rotator from the lafd or was that a rumor

@MABAS 21: I think they may be from the 5-11 Club, but I’m not sure.

The flooded streets are a result of clogged sewers, not the result of the amount of water being drawn from the mains…..

Dog rides with Squad 2, and the reserve snorkel is NOT assigned to a Squad. It is housed with Engine 35 and is brought to the scene by a fire company that mans it at the scene of whatever incident it is requested at. The street being flooded is not unusual or uncommon, that happens when massive amounts of water are drawn from the mains in the area of a large fire.

I noticed in one of the pictures, the street was flooded.

Which squad company was the reserve snorkel assigned to?

the spare 55′ Snorkel was being used by Squad 2. The 85′ reserve Snorkel (661) was not at the scene.

Is the dog on the engine the company mascot? I feel like I’ve seen that dog at the station near the 911 center.
