This from Scott Peterson:
Westchester & other Div 20 cos had been running a few still alarms before this fire. I arrived right after the still cos. Westchester 311 & one of his engs arrived together to find smoke coming from the center unit. Obviously, fire found in the center unit of a townhouse bldg. Cos used 2 lines, nice knockdown and no extension to either unit on the B & D sides. Great job by the Westchester guys & Chief Jim Adams! The fire was at 3044 Carlton Ct.Still cos: Hillside Trk, Broadview Eng.Box: Bellwood Eng, Stone Park Eng-RIT, Melrose Park Amb. Berkeley Engine C/Q.Scott Peterson

From Scott Peterson:
Found this driving thru Hebron IL. Bought from a Skokie fireman by Doug Reno. It'll be at the Illinois Railway museum this weekend and the next two. It will fill a steam Engine. The piping on the driver's side was fabricated for a quick-fill method of the rig's tank while it is in Union to fill the steam engine The Leviathon. Rig is in really good shape! It carries WLF so 80-1129.

Scott Peterson sent images of the MABAS Division 2 TRT unit. The only data we know is that it was built by KME.
We would welcome the specs, previous owning department, and current station assignment to accompany these images.

Several readers have submitted comments that inform us that the unit is stationed in Elgin.
Bill Friedrich tells us that the unit is:
MABAS DIVISION 2 @ ELGIN, runs out of Elgin Station 1. It is a 2003 KME Renegade, GSO 5304

Scott Peterson submitted several images of apparatus from the Huntley Fire Protection District. Huntley is not yet on the site.
Unique item on the new Ferrera engine (Engine 944), the Huntley name lights up on the front grill. The other Ferrera units in the area say the brand name. Also, check out the roll-up door for the rear hose bed to provide the now required NFPA containment system for hose. Most manufacturers have been using the cargo style netting.

Thanks to Scott Peterson for the tip on this one.
The Hebron-Alden-Greenwood FPD purchased Engine 1346 from the Nunda Rural FPD sometime last year. The vehicle is now painted Red.
Bill Friedrich adds:
This vehicle, which currently has a Spartan Monarch cab, was originally delivered with a Ford C-8000 cab that was destroyed in an accident in 1994. I believe RPI did the work on this rehab. A photo of the new engine at Hebron will be added when photographed.
