This morning we put our new E602 in service with a short push in ceremony. It was attended by about 60 or so people. This is a first for us as we have not done this type of ceremony before.

I had a chance to photograph Oak Park’s new Engine 602. This will be the replacement for the 2010 HME Engine. The current HME Engine 602 will become one of the new spare engines. Oak Park will be running two reserve engines when this engine goes into service.
