Schererville responded to a fire at El Salto at the intersection of US-30 & US-41 9/13/18. A full still was called and Lake Hills and St. John assisted. Something to note is the roto ray on the Lake Hills engine as its something rarely seen around here.

Naperville had a Box Alarm with an EMS Box Sunday morning (8/26). The fire was out long before I could arrive. I’ve provided two images of what they had that were taken from a distance as I could not get any closer. Also pictured are 3 Naperville engines, Naperville Truck 1, an Oswego engine, a Lisle Woodridge engine and the Plainfield tower ladder.

The Roberts Park Fire Protection District had an apartment fire that came in around 2:00 Saturday afternoon (8/4). With summertime Chicago traffic, it took me an hour to arrive just to give a perspective of time. Most of the firefighting was over so here are some images of rig placement at the incident. The alarm went to a 4-11 with an EMS Plan I and an appearance of the Chicago Fire Department’s Engine 64, Truck 31, Ambulance 77, and Battalion 15.

This from Eric Haak:
I arrived at this incident in Calumet Park just short of an hour and a half after the first in engine. The rear of the building was brought under control about 10 minutes after I arrived and after that, there was not much firefighting left to shoot other than rigs.
