The Tri-State Fire District worked a commercial fire at 11S224 Madison St in Burr Ridge on the evening of 1-7-24.
 
Crews were met with heavy fire showing from a one story repair shop on arrival and deployed a deck gun and master stream. 20 minutes into the fire, the alarm was upgraded to a Box alarm. Due to limited supply from the hydrants, a tender box alarm was requested, bringing tenders from Pleasantview, Lemont, Plainfield, Homer, and York Center. Pleasantview’s hazmat was also requested to the scene to help control runoff from going into the sewer.
