There are supposedly only 3 working towers in the City – 16, 23 and 39. Everybody else is in a spare truck, with Tower 10 supposedly in Aerial Tower 1’s old rig.

Tower 24’s regular rig was involved in an accident over the summer, they were given a spare Pierce tower which blew its transmission a few weeks ago. Since there weren’t any more spare towers available they were given a regular truck. Tower 39 was the first tower due on the Still and box to this fire followed by Tower 54 as second tower requested to the scene. As Eric said there was a Still and Box at 71st and University during the same time hence why Tower 16 wasn’t available on the Still and Box.

Currently not a Tower Chris. They have been running as a truck company for a while now. I don’t know the specifics but several tower ladders are currently running as truck companies. Tower Ladder 16 was operating at another fire so that caused them to go to TL54 as next up.

Anyone know where Tower 24 was in all of this?
