Pics from the final inspection of our new engine. Once it leaves the factory it will head to FSI in St John for graphics and equipment mounting. Expecting it to be ready April-May ish. (so 145034)

EXTREMELY NICE FINISHED PRODUCT. LOVE THE RECESSED HI-VIZ SCENE LIGHTING ABOVE THE BODY. COLORS ARE AWESOME AS WELL. LOOKS LIKE A SOLID EFFORT BY THE COMMITTEE. ALL IT NEEDS IS AN 888 LIGHT!!

Nice work on this Andy. Little details like the recessed Q but having the bumper top go over it so it’s protected. Nice work

This engine will replace the 2007 KME engine (current E28/218). The 2016 E-One will become a reserve, likely at Station 27.

Michael M, according to my information Buffalo Grove actually has an older reserve Engine located at Station 27 which is a 2007 KME Predator model. If the information is still correct then the new rig would in effect be replacing the KME Predator while the 2010 Ferrara will remain as a Reserve rig.
Currently the Buffalo Grove Fire Department maintains 2 Reservie Engines and a Reserve Tower Ladder. the Reserve Engines are located at Stations 26 and 27 while the Reserve Tower Ladder is located is at Station 25 which makes perfect sense as that is where Tower Ladder 25 is located to begin with.

Nice looking engine, I am guessing this will replace engine 26, which is not that old, it’s a only a 2016. I am guessing the current engine 26 will replace the 2010 Ferrara?

Perhaps it’s the angle but it looks to be of a slightly darker shade of red. Nice looking E-ONE.

I like how the Q is recessed but covered.
I can tell they like their flashing lights.
