Mike L,
I listened to Kenosha Fire, via broadcastify, and IFREN, off the DUCOMM UHF patch, until about 3am. After the first 2 major fires, the furniture store and corrections/parole office, they called a “Working Still” followed by a box. Then there seemed like a delay for the 2nd and 3rd alarms. I believe that the 4th was bi-passed and it was elevated to the 5th from what I could hear. Car 1 (Chief) was using the corrections/parole address (1212 60th) on the Citywide card 53-01, with staging at Bradford High School, 39th and Washington. From there individual companies were sent out as needed. “Task Forces” were eventually set up, but I only heard one or two actually used. I heard Car 1 pull the last 2 alarms as a precaution to have available companies on hand in case it could even possibly get any worse.

There was talk of tasks forces from all over Southern and east central Wisconsin and northern Illinois responding. Was that true or just people not familiar with how box cards and extra alarms work? It sounds like all the did was call for a 5-11.
